Our Intake staff and volunteers are often the initial faces our clients meet when they get connected with JCCM. They hold a very important role by ensuring clients feel welcome and supported from the very first interaction they have with the organization. Intake associates also interact with donors and visitors to the building, making them the true face of JCCM.
Upon arriving at JCCM, clients experience a brief interview with an Intake worker. These interviews involve obtaining ID information from each person seeking services and having a discussion about the circumstances that brought them to JCCM. From there, the Intake associate identifies which services the client qualifies for and works with them to determine which of those services might be most helpful.
Some of the services offered are as follows:
· Food support
· Clothing support
· Rental eviction assistance
· Utility termination assistance
· Bus passes for interviews and doctor appointments
· Gas assistance
· Home heating assistance
· Medication financing
· And more!
Do you or someone you know need to speak to an Intake member about our services? Anyone with questions can come down to the JCCM building Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
